Hi, I’m Cristiana, the face behind Hampshire Phlebotomy Services

I’m a qualified Healthcare Assistant and Phlebotomist with five years of experience working across NHS hospitals, GP practices and private healthcare.

Over the years, I’ve cared for people of all ages and in many different situations — from children having blood tests and people who are nervous around needles, to patients receiving cancer treatment and older people who need a little more time and reassurance.

I know that having a blood test isn’t easy for everyone. I’m naturally calm and patient, and I’ll always take my time to make you feel comfortable and looked after.

I also have a degree in Special Psychopedagogy, which has given me a deeper understanding of communication, anxiety and individual needs.

Why I started Hampshire Phlebotomy Services

Working with patients over the years, I realised how many people find accessing blood tests more complicated than it needs to be.

Some already have a blood test request but struggle to find an appointment that fits around work or family. Others simply want to check their health privately — things like thyroid function, vitamin levels, cholesterol, hormones or general wellbeing.

And sometimes, people just prefer having their blood taken at home, where they feel more comfortable.

That’s why I created Hampshire Phlebotomy Services — to offer a simple, convenient and personal way to access blood tests, with someone who takes the time to make you feel comfortable.

A service you can trust

I’m fully insured, Enhanced DBS checked and ICO registered, and I follow UK GDPR requirements and professional standards for patient safety and confidentiality.

I’m also a member of the Organisation of Phlebotomists, and when private blood testing is needed, I work with a CQC-registered pathology laboratory partner.

My approach

For me, a blood test is never “just a blood test.”

You might be nervous, have difficult veins, dislike needles, be arranging a test for your child or an elderly parent — or simply prefer having your blood taken in the comfort of your own home.

Whatever the reason, I’ll treat you with patience, kindness and respect and do my best to make the whole experience as easy and comfortable as possible.
